TheInstitute.org News
The Institute’s Executive Board recently aligned on a new mission statement to carry us forward and guide our unfolding evolution. I want to share that statement with you:
Sharing a vision for living authentically and creating conditions to connect more genuinely with ourselves and our world.
This statement speaks directly to the research that stands behind the programs and services that we plan to begin offering this fall. The vision for living authentically is our Staged Model of Recovery, particularly Stage II as explained in Dr. Picucci’s book, The Journey Towards Complete Recovery: Reclaiming Your Emotional, Spiritual and Sexual Wholeness. We create the conditions for this more genuine connection with ourselves through Focalizing which Dr. Picucci first mentioned in Ritual as Resource: Energy for Vibrant Living and later explained in more detail through Organic Solutions to Real-Time Challenges: An Introduction to Focalizing. For more information, visit www.Focalizing.com.
Finally, we connect more genuinely with our world through Dynamic Linking, a way of networking, relating to people, and accessing inner and outer resources that allows us to evolve collectively.
These are very exciting times and I look forward to sharing more with you soon.

DOORWAYS TO AUTHENTIC PROCESS HEALING:

What exactly is Authentic Process Healing? |
For those of us who have primary addiction, if we are
to acheive wholeness and integration, we need to allow this reality to surface
and heal the wound. |
A "community" is defined as two or more people
who have shed their defensive "masks of composure" and agree to share
wisdom, struggles, joys and sorrows with each other, making each other's condition
their own. |
However we define the Higher Power, to reach it we
must come out from under a defense-driven isolation. |
Most of our models for relationships are from our families, which are more often than not dysfunctional, at least by present day standards. |
The healing of the internalized schism
between our sexual and spiritual energies is the most provocative topic and the
most intimidating task we can address. |
Trauma is a global phenomenon. It means being wounded. It means enduring an emotional shock that creates substantial and lasting damage to one's psychological and emotional development. |
APH offers the promise that profoundly effective ways exist for reducing the suffering caused by severe anxiety, depression, grief and other psychological concerns. |
| |
APH can lead you down new paths, to new experiences and understandings of Disease Transformation and Immune Restoration. |

"All of us are living in an era of such profound and hopeful change
that it is not an exaggeration to call it a renaissance. The word, of course,
means "rebirth."
What's being reborn is our sense of ourselves as spiritual beings, deeply connected
and open to one another and to something greater than ourselves.
These are exciting times, and whether that's a blessing or a curse is up to us.
The first step in realizing our potential may lie in recognizing what's going
on around us."
