A Retreat:

October 1-3, 2004

The greatest resource for sane, happy living is the innate wisdom and wholeness that we feel in our bodies, grounded on the earth, in the present moment. When we experience that presence within an intentional community, life becomes a vivid, safe playground where we risk leaps of soul strength, trust and personal achievement.

Authentic Process Healing Community has a nineteen year history of using what we now call “the five wisdoms” to create possibility and awaken souls to each other as avatars of conscious living.

These wisdoms are: 1) Being Real, 2) Power of Community Healing, 3) Power of Shared Intention,
4) Power of Shared Belief, and 5) Grounding through Resource. They help to inform the discovery of our individual life purpose and fulfilling the yearning to "know who we are" in a real and spiritual sense.

These wisdoms will ground us as we uncover the possibility for fulfillment and well-being. In community, we can be strong enough to uncover and resolve trauma memory, present-day obstacles, and blocks to intimacy. Ritual leads us into a sacred playground where non-ordinary states of consciousness support the living dream of being real and making progress, wherever we began and wherever we are going.

This sacred playground exists on the “other side” – beyond dualities like “good and bad”, “more or less”, “possible or impossible”. A different kind of “real self” appears in this sacred playground that integrates us. Upon returning to our homes, lives and families, we carry a key to ritual as a hidden, yet ever present river of soul-strength that irrigates us and our world with hope.

The retreat will be facilitated by Michael Picucci and his colleagues from the Institute for Authentic Process Healing. Dr. Picucci will be introducing material from a new book which is in process this summer. Join us for a joyful and deep experience in the Catskills.
